Windows to try it, Raspberry Pi to live with it
The Windows beta is for discovering Sally. To adopt it, the final version will run on a Raspberry Pi: a small, silent box that stays on day and night, with no screen or keyboard.
The Sally beta for Windows is available. You get a full 30-day trial, no account and no credit card. A demo is included so you can explore everything, even without hardware.
Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), about 80 MB. The file is published on GitHub, where you'll also find the installation guide and what's new in each version.
Choose your email: a ready-made message opens, with a few questions about your home and your hardware. Fill it in and send it, that's all. Nothing is stored on this site.
Or simply write to sallyhomeconnect@gmail.com
Nothing else to install: everything Sally needs is in the file.
Double-click the downloaded file. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, choose “More info” then “Run anyway”: the beta is not signed yet.
The desktop icon opens Sally in your browser. The first time, it shows a warning: that's normal, Sally has its own certificate. Choose “Continue”.
Plug in your Zigbee or EnOcean stick: Sally guides you, by voice if you like. Without hardware, open “Sally Home Connect - Démonstration” (the demo) from the Start menu.

After the trial, Sally is activated with a licence made for your installation: you pay once, with no subscription. The price will be announced at launch.
What works, what gets in the way, what you're missing, the hardware you have: we want to hear it all. Write to us, or open a request in the “Issues” tab of the GitHub page.
